Our Purpose
Neighbors meeting neighbors through social activities and community service.
New Neighbors is a non-profit social club that strives to benefit our local community. The club welcomes residents of Germantown, Collierville, Cordova and surrounding areas in the Greater Memphis, Tennessee area. We provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for those who are new to our area, and those who are undergoing lifestyle changes, such as becoming new parents, empty nesters, or recent retirees. Whether you’re interested in social activities or community involvement, New Neighbors has something for you.
Our History
New Neighbors was founded in 1972 in Germantown, Tennessee. We are chartered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Tennessee, and maintain our tax exempt status as a non-profit social organization. Over the years, we have expanded to include the growing communities in the Greater Memphis area, and our membership has grown to over 400 active members.

Get-acquainted coffee meetings are held each month to explain what New Neighbors is all about. The informal gatherings give new members and guests a chance to meet each other, and to chat with friendly New Neighbor representatives. Our annual membership fee of $30 is an exceptional bargain! Your membership includes our monthly newsletter and membership directory, as well as access to all the events and activities that you can fit into your schedule, and as many new friends as you can make!
