OUR FIRST LADIES: TRIALS AND TRIUMPHS
Program: What would it be like to live in the White House as the First Lady? Would servants scramble at your feet or would you chafe at the protocols you are expected to follow? Could you make a home for your family in the White House?
Marjorie Gerald, local historian and community leader, tells us about the ups and downs of some of our well-known and lesser-known First Ladies. No living First Ladies are discussed in this apolitical presentation. Come celebrate Women’s History Month by learning about these women who have had the ultimate volunteer job thrust upon them.

Menu Choices: #1 Southern Fried Chicken Strips
#2 Vegetable Plate
#3 Flat Iron Grilled Steak
All menu choices include salad, dessert, iced tea, or coffee. Green beans and whipped potatoes are included with the Chicken and Steak choices. Wine is available for purchase.
