Welcome to New Neighbors!
Whether you have just moved to the area, are recently retired, or are a long-time resident looking for new friends, our organization has something to offer you. Our activity groups run the gamut from book discussions and card games to antiquing and gardening to tennis. Activity groups provide an opportunity to explore mutual interests with a small number of friends while our monthly luncheons and larger social events allow our members to connect with our entire membership. Although New Neighbors is a women’s organization, spouses are included in some of our activities, such as wine tasting and dining groups.
New Neighbors differs from other organizations in that each member chooses how involved she wants to be. Members can choose to attend one activity a year or to be involved in an activity every day. Although the majority of our members live in Collierville and Germantown, we have no residency requirement. We welcome members from anywhere in the greater Memphis area, from Bartlett, Cordova, Eads, and Rossville to Olive Branch and Mud Island.
Since there is no better way to become part of a new community than by contributing your time and money to help others, we offer opportunities to volunteer for hands-on projects through Service or to contribute financially through Ways and Means. Each year Ways and Means selects our charities for the year from local charities nominated by our members.
If membership in New Neighbors appeals to you, we invite you to join. Please contact me with questions or comments about any aspect of New Neighbors.
