Social Events

New Neighbors plans several social events each year that are open to all members. Past events have included a Holiday Cookie Exchange, Group seats at the theatre or sporting events, Murder Mystery Nights, High Tea at the Peabody Hotel, and other activities in the Memphis area.

Spring 2012 — Million Dollar Quartet at the Orpheum

Fall 2011 — Memphis the Musical at the Orpheum

NN Members had group tickets to both of these Broadway Musicals, set in Memphis! The group enjoyed the Sunday matinee shows, followed by cocktails and dinner downtown.

Spring 2010 — Marlsgate Plantation Tour and Lunch

New Neighbors took a bus trip to Scott, Arkansas to travel to this 19th century cotton plantation to tour the gardens, grounds and stately mansion, and enjoyed an elegant luncheon.

Fall 2010 — Downtown Walking Tour with Jimmy Ogle

New Neighbors joined Jimmy Ogle for a FREE 3 hour historical walking tour of Downtown Memphis. A wonderful opportunity to learn more about the history of downtown Memphis. Jimmy has a wealth of knowledge about Memphis!
